SASCE Project
Aline Niddam, Head of Projects & Development at the Security and Crisis Center (SACC) by the European Jewish Congress (EJC), is participating in the 11th Human Rights Summer School hosted by the Conference of European Churches (CEC) from July 7-10, 2024, in Malaga, Spain. The event is focusing on” Advocacy for Security, Financial, Political and Legal Protection of Worship Places and Cultural Heritage in Europe and beyond.”She will present the role of SACC across Europe, provide an overview of the Safer and Stronger Communities in Europe (SASCE) project funded by the European Commission, demonstrate how SASCE has significantly enhanced the security and resilience of religious communities throughout Europe.
Additionally, she will share four case studies on crisis management.
Along with Mrs Nicole C. Wood, Deputy Director of the Department of Homeland Security Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the U.S, she will lead a group discussion titled “How Do Religious Communities Create a Common Advocacy Strategy for the Protection of Worship Places and Cultural Heritage” focusing on security and crisis management purposes.
