Styria . A 44-year-old man from Leoben has been investigated by the Styrian State Office for State Security and Extremism Prevention (LSE) following suspected neo-Nazi activity at a rock concert. During a house search, Nazi memorabilia, firearms, prohibited weapons and ammunition, as well as drugs, were seized. The suspect partially confessed during questioning, according to a press release issued by the Styrian State Police Directorate on Tuesday.
Investigations against the Styrian man had been underway since early 2025. He allegedly gave the Nazi salute in front of approximately 50 people at a rock concert in Leoben. A photo of this incident surfaced on social media. The man was provisionally arrested at the end of October. His residence was searched, and in addition to weapons and drugs, a flowering cannabis plant and drug paraphernalia were found. The Leoben public prosecutor’s office ordered his release pending charges.
