Anti-Semitic graffiti was painted on the night between Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th on Via Gluck in Milan (near Central Station), near number 10: a swastika and a Star of David painted in red, along with the symbol of equality. An identical graffiti (and in the same location) was found on September 8th.

Around the same time, the same Star of David and swastika were found by photographer and filmmaker Ruggero Gabbai, a former Democratic Party city councilor, in front of the windows of his studio. Gabbai reported the intimidating graffiti to the Digos (Italian Special Operations Division).

Intimidation in Gabbai, one person reported

For the Gabbai incident, the Carabinieri had reported a 45-year-old Egyptian man living in the province of Monza-Brianza. He owns a construction company, has no criminal record, and has never been identified as a participant in pro-Palestinian demonstrations. He allegedly justified his actions by claiming to be “pained by the massacre of civilians in Gaza.” He is charged with threats aggravated by racial hatred.
