A 23‑year‑old man from Bletchley has been charged with several terrorism offences following an investigation by the Counter Terrorism Policing unit.
Abdullah Yousef, of Galapagos Grove, Bletchley, was arrested on December 16 and charged on Monday (December 22).
Yousef was charged with one count of membership of a proscribed organisation, which is Islamic State, under Section 11 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
He has also been charged with one count of possession of information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
In addition, he was charged with four counts of disseminating a terrorist publication, offences brought under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Yousef has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court today (December 23).
