A man living in the Fumélois area was arrested and placed in police custody on charges of apology of terrorism. The man, in his early twenties, is accused of having disseminated proselytizing videos.
Known to the relevant authorities, the suspect has since been formally charged and placed in pre-trial detention at Mont-de-Marsan prison. The investigation is ongoing and has now been handed over to an investigating judge.
