A woman known as Laëtitia, also called Dounia and nicknamed “La Blonde,” has been sentenced to three months in prison with a suspended sentence by the Avignon criminal court for apologie du terrorisme and incitement to hatred or terrorist acts. The charges stemmed from social media posts in which she supported Hamas — designated a terrorist organization by France — and targeted Israel, including by comparing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler and sharing a video of rioters storming a Dagestan airport after the arrival of a flight from Israel.
During her court appearance in October 2025, she claimed she had no intent to promote terrorism or hatred and expressed regret, saying, “I was clumsy. I have shame.” However, the court also handed her a one-year ineligibility sentence, barring her from running for public office.
