A 25-year-old man from Den Bosch was arrested on Friday, April 10, because he may have been planning to carry out a terrorist attack. He was brought before the examining magistrate in Rotterdam on Tuesday, April 14. The judge decided that he will remain in custody for 14 days.
The man is suspected of preparing and facilitating a terrorist offense, as well as terrorist training. He is being held under restrictions and may only have contact with his lawyer. The investigation by the National Operations and Interventions Unit, under the direction of the National Public Prosecutor’s Office, is ongoing.
