nknown individuals have once again defaced a building wall in Prenzlauer Berg with calls for the murder of Jews. On Sunday, the words “KILL ALL JEWS” were again scrawled on the walls of buildings on Ueckermünder Straße. This was shown in a public post on the platform X.

Another post below the article shows the police covering up one of the graffiti. An accompanying video shows several graffiti tags being obscured with adhesive tape.

Arabic script among anti-Semitic graffiti

Among the new graffiti, an Arabic word can now be seen. Translated, it means something like “paradise.” What the perpetrators specifically meant by this remains unknown.

Berlin police confirmed an operation to this effect. Officers at the scene defaced the graffiti. No suspects have been identified so far. The State Security Police are investigating.

Two weeks ago, antisemitic graffiti calling for the killing of Jews appeared at the same location. Residents subsequently sprayed over the graffiti with silver-grey hearts, thereby committing a crime themselves simply by removing the antisemitism from the street.

SPD lead candidate condemns “criminal attack”

The leading candidate of the Berlin SPD, Steffen Krach, condemned the antisemitic graffiti in Prenzlauer Berg on Sunday evening. “This isn’t vandalism, it’s a criminal attack.” He vowed to fight against it until this spirit disappears from the city. “Berlin is and will remain a home for Jewish people,” he concluded.
