Residents and commuters in Tivoli woke up to a disturbing sight: swastikas and antisemitic slurs were found scrawled across the pedestrian underpasses of the city’s main train station. The hateful graffiti also included insults targeting Muslims, sparking widespread outrage in the local community.
The tunnels, used daily by hundreds traveling to and from Rome, were turned overnight into a chilling display of intolerance. Local authorities are now under pressure to remove the graffiti swiftly and take steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.
